That should do it. People who Googles ‘Belkin Malaysia’ should reach here and actually get somewhere, instead of jalan mati by calling Belkin’s phone number.

I can’t paste the bl00dy Wikimapia map here. Stupid WordPress can’t seem to recognise html codes. It only accepts its own codes! It’s just like Apple+Steve Jobs — trying to take over my brains. Ciput!
So here’s the link to Taman Perindustrian OUG map in Wikimapia. [Note: You can't come out from KESAS(Lebuhraya Shah Alam) to Jln Puchong [B11 & E5] on that junction next to Tmn Perindustrian OUG — it is a fly over, it’s not an entry-exit junction.
AVF is the distributor of Belkin products in Malaysia. Ask for Jack. Even he himself told me that Belkin’s toll-free line is useless. You want to claim warranty –> Jack; you want 1-to-1 exchange –> Jack; you want to RMA –> Jack; you want to check your device –> Jack. AVF is located in OUG Industrial Park, off Jalan Puchong. I’ll post a map later.
(The above info is correct at the time of print)
Stupid customer service of Belkin. Belkin’s customer service in Malaysia is non-existent. They only have a toll free line which will route (pronounced root, not ra-oot) your call to another continent (India? Philippines?). The CS representative will take down all sort of details about you and the product and confirm with you so many times that you begin to wonder if you just called a survey agency. It’s d*mn irritating. Then they will promise you that tech support will call you soon. How soon, only god knows. They were supposed to call me 3 weeks ago.
To Belkin…
If you can’t provide support here in Malaysia (I wonder why, since you do have an office across the bridge in Singapore), at least guide us to someone who can! List contact details of the official distributor of Malaysia (which is AVF). At least we know who to deal with when the Wireless G Router (pronounced rooter, not ra-ooter) goes bonkers. Your stupid CS rep don’t even know the distributor of Malaysia. Come on… don’t you train them properly? And your tech support still have not called me yet!

Really good information. Last month I manage to get on the spot exchange of Belkin surge protector at AVF. They also promise to make a claim for my damage Aztech modem.

iamyuanwu: You’re welcomed. At least you saved the trouble to go round & round looking for Belkin Malaysia.
Their tech support in the US is even worse…
good one dude, That is what exactly like in TMNUT

ohh forget one thing. thanks for the info dude !!
hey dude.. thanks for the info..
from this, i can say that belkin just lost one prospective customer (me) :)
looks like im sticking with d-link for router then :)
Hi there,
I agreed with you. I am having a belkin wireless router modem and have problem since i bought it half year ago. I am not sure what is the problem but the picture always hang when i make a Windows Live Messenger video call (the problem doesn’t exist when I use ZTE modem provided by Streamyx. I tried to call belkin customer support but….as what you said, nothing happen and the problem still remain. So now, I still using my ZTE modem after spending nearly RM300 on the useless device.
I’m damn regret of buying this most stupid ass hole Belkin wireless router modem (sorry for vulgar words bcos i’m really angry n irritating), I hv to ON and OFF it few times argggggggg, sometimes up to 6 times before i’m connected to the internet, but the thing that really make me mad is it will suka-suka disconnected and then hv to do the steps again.
It also has problem that you can browse the net when LAN connected and sometimes you have to dial in using the dialing box. I tried to reset the button at the back of the modem and apply the factory setting but the problem still the same I have to ON & OFF few times. I borrowed my friend other brand wireless modem router i don’t hv this problem one time str8 connect, and before that i use Telekom’s DSL modem(rosak) also only one time connected.
P/S : Because i buy this wireless router modem :-
1) Lifetime warranty
2) Recommended by few PC magazines (next time sorry i wont believe what they write)
My advise stay away from this BELKIN go for other brand.
Oh ya one more thing, sites that I used to view don’t display properly now, it shows the site is complete loading but not all images loaded properly even I refresh few times still the same as it never happen when im using my old DSL modem.
Thanks for this link. I really hope they can solve my problem. When i first bought my wireless AIO, it was ok. But after sometime and i want to do a new setup, i can’t get a connection. Why don’t they just make it simpler like what Aztech does?
Tomorrow i will call Jack. I hope he still works for AVF…
Yeah… agreed. my belkin also got off-on off-on symptoms with wifi and i dont know where to go for support as the death-toll as you mentioned doesn’t response… but now my new linksys solved the trouble. Salute for your hard work by raised the issue in here.
P/s: According to http://www.tfd.com
1. route = pronounced ‘root’ in both british and us (http://www.tfd.com/route)
2. router = pronounced ‘rooter’ in british and ‘ra-ooter’ in us (http://www.tfd.com/router)
Thanks for the info.
Yes, all I can say is Belkin wireless modem is lousy. Network cable dropped off 9 to 10 times a day. After dropping off, cannot access the net even after switching on and switching off. Wait for several hours then can access the net again. Maybe Belkin not tropicalised for Malaysian weather. Using airlink now, (an unknown wireless modem in Malaysia and also not tropicalised for Malaysia use) bought from the US and no such problem.
2nd claim now.
1st claim the called is transfer to india.
but just take me 2 day to receive email and get a replacement on next day. :D
Most technology companies with products sold in Malaysia via direct or even just a distributor. The principle (product manufacturer) always seem to miss out MALAYSIA!!!
Even in certain pull-down menu options in websites forms, you can find Singapore, but you won’t be surpised that Malaysia is not in there.
Is this country that insignificant to be bothered with additional info…for us users here locally (Malaysia) ?
Didn’t know that they were so inefficient with the toll-free line. I was going to call them but lost the little black card. Everything works fine until I wanted to secure my belkin wireless connection. Then status went : Validating Identity. I will try to call Jack. You’re the man. Thanks for showing me the right route! :) You are a good human router.
excuse guys…wanna kno if my router gt hit by lightning, can claim?
I came here via google, you are damn right, i just called that toll free number and I got route to some damn India CS representative.
Freakin bitch CS ask me to connect back the router even i’ve already mentioned that my router is dead a.k.a no power at all…!!! the bastard also persuade me to hold the reset button for 45secs.. then what? “and now i will transfer ur call to Level 2 support” … I’m heading to Puchong this saturday.. it opens half day on saturday.. this is my 1st and last product from belkin..
Thanks a lot for writing this post! My Belkin Router just died a few minutes ago…called 03-7783 3010 and they say I can came buy and get a 1 to 1 exchange on the spot…going there tomorrow…
I live quite far from Puching so I don’t really know the area…now I’m on Google Earth studying the route…I hope I don’t get lost on the way back :P
