Corruption and you/me/everyone

Because there will be no end to corruption if BN continues to rule our country. Corruption have become the sole reason for its survival. UMNO is corrupted in the all levels – this is an open secret. MCA is involved in the underworld. Don’t believe me? Read this post by ShadowFox and his links to Malaysia-Today. MIC is a already bloody mafia itself.

So you say… I can live with corruption+extortion (I added extortion because some people in power/little Nazis in gahmen demand that you bribe them — if this is not extortion, I don’t know what it is). Malaysia Boleh mah, close one two eyes loh.

But…

can you live with high inflation rate + no salary increase?

This is what can happen to you/me/everyone if corruption is allowed to continue. Oops, my mistake — let me re-phrase:
This is what’s happening to you/me/everyone because corruption+extortion is rampant. [Now… that sounds more accurate]

How can this be?
– Because corruption+extortion have made it difficult to do business in Malaysia.
– Because corruption+extortion have increased the cost of running a legitimate business in Malaysia – this means companies have less money to pay their employees e.g. you.
– Because corruption+extortion have decreased foreign investment into Malaysia.
– Because corruption+extortion have decreased competition in business.
– Because corruption+extortion have suppressed entrepreneurship.

Ever wonder why the cost of living in our neighbouring countries (Thailand, Singapore) can be low when there’s no subsidies for petrol/sugar/flour/etc?
– Because corruption is not as rampant as in Malaysia.
– Because their gahmens has no time for politicking & playing the racial/religion card. The world is moving forward way too fast to play these destructive games.
– Because their gahmens are not made up of idiots (Thaksin, LeeSL+Singaporean cabinet).
– Because their gahmens are people oriented.

So, what to do leh?
There’s no way we can expect UMNO or BN for that matter to change. Like I said, corruption is the sole reason and means for their survival. The best we can do is to vote in a new gahmen that has no experience in corruption to get rid of all corruption+extortion once and for all. Then, Malaysia will truly be the home I’ve always wanted. Oops, I mean: we have always wanted.

Grand Saga can sod off

Hah hah hah!

Greedy little f*cktards, now you kena tiu by the new Selangor PR gahmen. Muahahahah!

You blocked the road built by the developers for Cheras Mahkota because you wanted to force the residents there to detour 4-5km and pass through your toll. When the it was approved to have the barricades removed, you some how managed to ‘convince‘ certain people of power to delay it. You even managed to have some policemen cordon off that junction when the residents disobeyed the delay order.

And you even dare to ask for 200 million Ringgit as compensation from then state gahmen (with Khir Toyol as your 靠山). Laugh… cough… choke… uek! Puke blood!

Now, the Selangor PR gahmen is shoving this up your arse…
flaming middle finger

No contract with state gahmen, what to compensate?! Loss of toll collection? You f*cking babi increased from 60+70 sen to 1 Ringgit + 90 sen… now you tamak want to ask for 200 million?!?! Engko pi jilat bola Toyol lah! Mana tau dia tu kencing minyak tar – dapatlah minyak tar percuma untuk buat highway.
Muahahahah X^D

Parliament building is UMNO’s play house

Eh, UMNO… you think the Parliament building is you play house kah? You syok-syok renovate here, decorate there.

Some more you have the guts renovate the dining hall into private office for front benchers/menteri’s… with live feed of parliamentary debates into huge-@ss-dunno-how-many-inches plasma screens in those office. Who the hell told you the Parliament building is yours? And f*ck-face Nazri is thick faced enough to give the excuse that if need be, or votes are needed… those menteri’s can rush from their sweet private office to the parliament hall to vote, after watching the live feed.

Why can’t they just plonk their ass in the parliament hall like everybody else? Those office is just an excuse to spend some gahmen’s money on themselves. How I know if those menteri’s are watching the live feed? They could be watching pron while f*cking their secretaries in their new sets of sofa for all I know (I know I would).

Eh Nazri/UMNO, the Parliament building is not yours. Don’t try to be funny make it as if its your own home office. You are only the tenant, not the landlord. The rakyat (indirectly) & the gahmen is the landlord. You’re only there because we allow you to use it… that is until we kick you racist-shouting-@ss out of it in the next GE!

Weblogs that I recommend

So should you… because these are good stuff, written by smart-intelligent people. They are on my links of “blogs that matter a lot”. But I know people don’t give a crap to those links. So once in a while, I’d like to promote one or two that I think are especially worth reading. A friend of mine would have said, “These are some real nice sh!t!” [I know my weblog don’t get much traffic a day, at most 20-30 readers/day but still I hope if you read this, you’ll go check out the links and help me spread these good stuff around.]

First nice sh!t to be recommended:
The Other Malaysia, where Dr. Farish Ahmad-Noor writes for.
http://www.othermalaysia.org

This site was set up by a number of Malaysian scholar-activists and volunteers with the simple aim of providing other sources of information for those who are interested in unearthing aspects of Malaysian history, politics and culture that have thus far been sidelined, marginalised or erased in the official historiography of the post-colonial state.

I first started reading Farish Noor’s articles in Asia Eye [亚洲眼]. That magazine is a nice piece of sh!t. Almost like Time magazine, but with more commentaries/columnist & less news. His articles are always the first one I read when I get my hands on Asia Eye. Then I started visiting The Other Malaysian when I saw the website listed in his short intro. I haven’t seen his articles appear in Asia Eye for quite some times now.

The Other Malaysia is not exactly a blog per se. They are mostly observations and commentaries on recent event in Malaysia and the world. I like to read their articles (mostly written by Farish Noor) because they are logical and make sense. He includes lots of historical references, cutural viewpoints, etc… which makes it an easy read, but also makes you think a little lot.

Go read it. A Farish [‘s articles] a day, can turn you into a real smart @ss… like me!

I love Macau

I Love Macau
iamyuanwu's flickr page

Heh heh! A teaser for you guys about my trip to Guangzhou. More photos and stories to come…
This of course was taken in Macau, at a side alley of a ghetto shopping centre. The wife came over and we chatted with the husband & wife. I showed them the photo and they liked it. I’ll email this photo to them later.

I love Macau. I like it better than Hong Kong. HK is like a maze to me. I didn’t know where to go, what to do, what to see while in HK. Macau is small, and feels more intimate. It resembles HK some what, but there’s more heritage kinda feel to it. Something like Cheras compared to Orchard Rd Singapore. Wandering around Macau just looking around, absorbing the atmosphere was free & easy. It’s just nice lah, compared to HK — which was hectic.

Housebreaking

I just received a call from a heng dai [兄弟] of mine.

His home just got broken into. During day time around 4-7pm. He lives in Bandar Baru Ampang. Modus operandi = grill of the window in the kitchen was some how broken and the thieves just entered and took whatever they can get their fingers on.

Items lost include Chinese antique items, computers and dSLR camera.
– Nikon D80, serial no: 6044555
– Nikon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6, serial no: 2316938
– A pair of antique Chinese dragons (I don’t know how it looks like, his description is lost to a banana like me).
– His Compaq laptop, 15in, Centrino, 2-3 years old. Not much detail on this one.

So, I have listed the serial numbers of the camera equipments. I hope whoever happens to chance upon them does a search on the internet to check the status of the camera before purchasing. Oh, if you are a member of any photography forums, please help me post a thread about these lost items too. I hope against hope that miracle happens — the thieves are caught before they manage to off-load their loot; and most if not all the items are retrieved.

I hope you, reading this blog of mine, do the same — pray and hope. Don’t just drop a 6-word-comment saying you’re sorry, send-your-condolences, you-feel-bad-for-him, etc… That is not enough – you might as well go m@sturbate and get on with your live. What I need is that you spend just a few moments visualising that the items are found & recovered; pray and hope as if you yourself lost these things. Maybe, just maybe, with enough ‘conviction’ and prayers… some miraculous sh!te will happen.

No I will not belanja minum of something. You’ve got to be sincere. And trust me, a bit of well-meaning thoughts will be paid back in abundance.

Back from Guangzhou

Home sweet home.

I’m back from Guangzhou. That’s about 30+ hours of no bath/clean up. So this is a quick & dirty update.

Spend my first night in the streets & casino of Macau. Won 300HKD.

Stayed in Panyu [番禺], it’s the town next to Guangzhou [广州]. Something like Kajang and KL. Digressing a bit… as we pass by Zhuhai [珠海], the city itself is like Putrajaya. The roads are wide, the landscaping along the main roads/streets is amazing. In a few years time, KL wouldn’t be able to compete even with a mid-sized town in China. Our BN politician (appallingly stupid and self-centred) are just too darned busy playing politic, harping on racial issues & comparing ourselves with with some 4th world nations.

Attended Ah Onn’s wedding. I was basically the official photographer despite my lack of experience. Thanks to Henry for over-promoting me. >.<

Went to Chime Long Amusement Park. Well, it’s sort of like Genting. Also went to Ju Long Bay hot springs resort [聚龙湾温泉度假区]. It was a nice mata air panas. Henry got an ear infection because air termasuk telinga. Also went shopping a little in GZ. I’ll be back to GZ again. This time, I’ll be heading to Jiuzhaigou [九寨沟+黄龙] or Zhangjiajie [张家界] or Guilin [桂林].

My last night was spend in the streets of Hong Kong… well 24hour McDonald’s actually.

Towards the last few days, I didn’t take a lot of photos. Probably because I feel so lost/blur and tired to actually take any photos at all. Crap, the Nikon D70s is a bloody hassle to take photos… too darn big @ss. I should so get a Canon G9 (or wait for Nikon/Fuji to come up with a G9 equivalent). Or maybe a Pentax K200, Olympus E-410.

Oh yeah, before I log off…
It’s not hard to get Henry drunk. All you need is a six-pack. Actually, half a six-pack will do. The crazy things he do & say when drunk is so dangerous he should be quarantine in Level 5298467 biohazard labs, not to mention he’ll keep on talking & talking & talking throughout the night. Oh, and camwhore too!

Turn on your lights in the car park

To all drivers in Malaysia…

This is a community service message:
Please turn on your lights in a car park.

No matter how brightly lit the car park is, just f*cking turn it on!

Why?

Because there are imbecilic pedestrians like me who are late for yamcha with my ‘pig friends dog acquaintances’ (猪朋狗友), sprinting past lines of cars across the car park.

Because there are mischievous (and short) children weaving in and out between the cars to be the first to reach the entrance.

Because there are even more idiotic drivers who suddenly appear out of thin air from the corner because they didn’t know you are also around the corner.

That’s why.

Elections 2008 – Bandar Tun Razak’s Tan Chai Ho

This is Tan Chai Ho.

I don’t like him because seriously… I don’t know what has he been up to in the past four years as Bandar Tun Razak’s (BTR) wakil. My dad says he’s an imbecilic dimwit. Maybe barely passed his SPM… liddat also can become deputy minister.

Apparently too, he has a mistress/2nd wife. What is this? Can’t keep your stick in your pants? Lucky fella… thankfully the Chua Soi Lek case didn’t happen to you, eh? I wonder why all these big shot politicians like to fool around when they already have a family.

Last week’s Ops Crocodile-tears was a joke! TCH went to a tamil primary school. The school was flooded and the students have no choice but to study in the school field. TCH said that he was so moved & deeply sympathised the students’ situation that tears rolled down his cheek! Bwahahahah! Come on lah, TCH. Muka pun tak pernah tunjuk sekali di sini… tiba-tiba menangis berpura-pura empati. Siapa nak percaya?! (kecuali auntie dan uncle yang bodoh sial sajalah yang percaya air mata buaya engko.)

I don’t know what is his stand on many of the current issues. Things like petty crimes in my area, building new Chinese primary schools, rising living expenses, water cannon’s and harsh treatment of BERSIH ralliers (he was the deputy home minister after all), snatch theft & violent street crimes on innocent people, yadda… yadda… yadda…

Where’s your manifesto, nigga? Without a manifesto, how to vote for you? I better vote Khalid Ibrahim of PKR, at least I know there’ll be some real check and balance in the parliament.

Vote, so that your voice can be heard. Don’t vote because you hear voices in your head.

(note: the voices in your head is planted by BN’s crazy-brainwashing advertisements X^D )
